The Naughts

You know how people reference decades? Like, "I like 80's music." or "The 60's was great.", etc... I've been wondering how people are going to reference this decade in the future... "That's so 0's."??

I think it's going to be naughts. Although now I'm wondering what the next decade is going to be, the teens?

    I don’t think this will be an issue, there has been no music yet this decade that anyone would ever want to refer to again :)

    The “naughts” is good because that’s about how many good songs there have been so far - “naught a single one” :)

    I could also go for zilps!

    Concerning 2010-2019 I would call them the Tens, or maybe the Eleventees.

    Is this just an American thing? Do European countries that have been around for hundreds of years and have a lot more history refer to the decades in the same way?
