San Diego Chargers vs. Oakland Raiders

The first Monday Night Football of the season, and it’s the Chargers vs. the Raiders. lol
The Chargers play the Raiders twice a year (being in the same division and all), and the Raiders haven’t won since 2002. So uh… yeah… If you are a Raiders fan, good luck on Monday.
Edit…OMG, […]

Padres On Track For All Sorts Of Records

The San Diego Padres won their season opener against San Fransisco 7-0. Let’s just put that in perspective for a moment. That puts the Padres on track to go 162-0 (undefeated the entire season, which no team has ever come remotely close to doing). It also puts them on track to outscore […]

LaDainian Tomlinson Wins NFL MVP & Offensive Player Of The Year

Not a bad year for this guy (not that there really was any question he was going to win both)…
Tomlinson, voted Most Valuable Player on Thursday, broke Shaun Alexander’s league record for touchdowns by scoring 31 (28 rushing) and also threw for two scores. The brilliant running back not only surpassed the mark Seattle’s […]

Chargers Las Vegas Favorite To Win Super Bowl

The Chargers are currently the favorite of Las Vegas bookies to win the Super Bowl (5-2 odds). The Chicago Bears are the 2nd favorite, coming in at 7-2.

Okay, so now that the regular season is over for th Chargers, they get a first-round bye and home field advantage for all playoff games. Sweet.

Chargers Send 9 To Pro Bowl

The Chargers sent more players this year to the Pro Bowl than any other team in NFL history (the previous record was 8 players). 5 of the players going to the Pro Bowl this year for the Chargers are going to be Pro Bowl starters as well. Another 5 Chargers are Pro Bowl […]

San Diego Chargers vs. Kansas City Chiefs

All I have to say is wazzzzzzuuuppp bitches?!? Chargers win 20-6, with the best record in the NFL (12-2) with 2 games left in the regular season.
Oh yeah, and there’s this guy too… {shrug}
LaDainian Tomlinson had a career-long 85-yard touchdown run in the second quarter against the Chiefs on Sunday, giving […]

Nachos Are Yummy

This guy loved his nachos at the Chargers game… His hand (and clothes) were covered in cheese. I was waiting for him to take off his clothes and start rubbing nachos all over his naked body.

San Diego Chargers Sweep Broncos

Just got back from the Charger game, and saw LaDainian Tomlinson set the single season touchdown record (and he still has 3 games left). San Diego came out on top 48-20… (they also clinched their division) LT ended up with three touchdowns and Antonio Gates had two as well.
Shawne Merriman had 2 sacks […]

San Diego Chargers Are Current Super Bowl Favorite

At least Bill Simmons knows what’s up.
1. San Diego
More weapons than anyone, fewer weaknesses than anyone, and if that’s not enough, LDT just submitted one of the greatest two-month statistical stretches in NFL history. Put it this way: When the only reason people are doubting you is because your coach has a […]

Chargers Are #1 (Again)

The weekly Power Rankings came out today, and the Chargers are back on top (after being knocked to #2 last week).

Chargers, Bears, & Colts…

These are the three teams tied for the best record in the NFL (10-2). I went to the Bears/Viking game at Soldier Field in Chicago this morning, and uhm… it was COLD. Chicago in general is f’ing cold and I don’t know why anyone would willingly live here. Did […]

Ravens vs. Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals almost shutout the Baltimore Ravens tonight (Ravens scored with 1 minute left), and normally I wouldn’t care all that much, but before this game, the Chargers and Ravens were tied for the 2nd best record in the conference (behind Indianapolis). In the case of a tie between the Chargers and Ravens, […]

Chargers vs. Raiders

I went to the game today, and dude… the Chargers looked like dog do-do as far as how they played. Lucky for the Chargers, they only need 1 player to play well (LaDainian Tomlinson). The Chargers scored 3 touchdowns (2 in the 4th quarter), with Tomlinson rushing for 2 and passing for one. […]

Thursday, November 23rd, 2006Thursday, November 23rd, 2006

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos

Kansas City beat Denver today, which is really good for the Chargers. If the Chargers can beat the worst team in football on Sunday (the Raiders) at home, they will be 2 games ahead of Denver and KC in their division. Now someone else needs to beat Baltimore and/or Indianapolis so the Chargers […]

The weekly Power Rankings came out today, and guess who’s on top? Chargers.

Naked Girls Skateboarding

Every once in awhile I think I have too much time on my hands, but then I run across something like this that reminds me, that other people have more spare time than I do…

And More Importantly, San Diego Wins…

The San Diego Chargers won by far their most important game of the 2006 (regular) season… And guess what? Their defense has been “crippled” the last 3 weeks and they are about to get back their 3 best defensive players… Shawne Merriman, Shaun Phillips and Luis Castillo. Their offense has been keeping […]

Mike Tyson To Fight Women

Hmmm… what the hell?
At a news conference at an Italian restaurant, Tyson said he would likely go just four rounds and that future stops on the tour might include bouts with women, possibly professional boxer Ann Wolfe.

Chargers vs. Steelers

To make up for the Padres’ loss today, the Chargers beat the Steelers today. The first half looked terrible for the Chargers, but after they let Philip Rivers do his thing in the 2nd half, they actually looked pretty good). The Chargers won this one with their defense and passing game and not […]

Padres Out

Well at least the Padres won *one* game this year (the Cardinals swept the Padres last year in the playoffs). Maybe next year we can win two games, and then the year after we could win three games finally.

Padres Lose

WTF is going on here? The Chargers lost on Sunday, and now the Padres lost today to the Cardinals in the first post season game of the year for them.

San Diego Chargers - Strength In Numbers

You know I have to repost great things I see about the Chargers, so…

Chargers Up In Power Rankings

The San Diego Chargers didn’t play this week (they had a bye), yet they went from #7 to #5 in the NFL power rankings. Oddly enough, the team they play this weekend (the Ravens) did play this last weekend (and won), yet they went from a #6 to a #8 ranking. {shrug}

Oakland Passing Yards: 42

Chargers Win (Barely)

The San Diego Chargers are still clutching to their playoff hopes. They beat Washington today (barely)… They needed to score 16 unanswered points at the end to squeak out a win. Just like a couple weeks ago, LaDainian Tomlinson scored all of the Charger touchtowns (3 of them today).

LaDainian Tomlinson scored all 4 Charger touchtowns, not bad I guess.

Five Hole Golf Course

I also saw the first rough sketches of a 5 hole golf course for my house. It looks pretty damn cool if I do say so myself. It even has a pond in the middle (although I didn’t see a golf cart path).
The front of the house is going to […]

I’m Going To Kill The Chargers

Dude, the San Diego Chargers should be 7-0, but instead they are 3-4. The 4 losses have all come with them leading in the last 2 minutes. Today they got beaten by the Philadelphia Eagles with such last minute stupidity I want to cry.
Still have to give some props to the Eagles for […]

LT Runs, Throws And Passes For TD

I don’t know how often it happens, but I can’t imagine it happens all the time that an NFL player rushes for a touchdown, catches a pass for a touchdown and also PASSES for a touchdown in a single game. But it happend today for the Chargers with LaDainian Tomlinson against the Raiders.
What would […]

Chargers Treat Patriots Like Bitches

The San Diego Chargers played a game in Foxborough against the New England Patriots at home. For those that don’t know, the Patriots are the defending Super Bowl champions (have also won 3 of the last 4 Super Bowls). And have not lost at home in 21 straight game (their last loss at […]

Battle Of The Bridges

I got invited to a golf tournament (as an attendee, not a player) that’s going on today. I guess it’s a two on two tournament with Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Retief Goosen and John Daly.
My first golf tournament I’ve ever been to (well I played in 2 before). I know everyone cares.
I need […]

Bam Margera, Steve-O and Chris Pontius

I’m not much of a TV watcher, but Wildboyz and Viva La Bam are pretty damn funny. Don Vito is such an idiot on Viva La Bam, that I’m not sure if I’m supposed to laugh and this guy or feel sorry for him (although I usually laugh).
Anyway… the whole reason for this entry, […]

San Diego Padres

I’m really not a baseball fan, but what I want to know is how in the hell the San Diego Padres all of a sudden are awesome?
They went 22-6 this month (May), have won 6 straight, 11 straight at home, are in first place, etc, etc… What the hell? I thought San Diego sports […]

Texas Cheerleaders

I don’t know why I find this funny, but I do…
Texas lawmaker Al Edwards proposed a bill (which passed on a 85-55 vote) that specifically forbids cheerleaders to do “sexy cheers”, “shake their behinds” and/or “break it down”. What exactly is “breaking it down” anyway?
That’s our tax dollars being well spent.
BTW, […]

Disc Golf

I played a good round of disc golf with my dad today. Missing my best score by one, and he played the worst game I can remember him playing. I beat him by 15 strokes (I ended up 4 under par, and he was 11 over. This one was cool because I […]

I’m Getting Better At Disc Golf

It’s been a few months now since I’ve had a round where I was over par. I rule the back nine now, and today I birdied the following holes:
11
12
13
15
16
17
Okay, well technically 13 wasn’t a birdie, but I still made it in 2 shots. I had a penalty stroke because I overshot the pin […]

Still A Respectable Score

Not as good as my 5 under par score, but I played frisbee golf today (for the first time since that score), and I ended up 3 under par. Still better than average… Plus I’m sick, so I’ll use that as an excuse.
The worst part is that I was 5 under for awhile, […]

Frisbee Golf

I played my best game of frisbee gold ever today. I ended up being 5 under par (my previous best was 4 under). What’s really a pisser is 5 or 6 strokes were lost just because I can’t putt worth a crap. But my drives are pretty good.

Snowboarding Season

It’s been raining in San Diego lately (first rain in 6 months), so it’s starting to feel like fall… and snowboarding season will soon be upon us. Yay!

How To Play Tennis

Not that I really know *how* to play Tennis that well, but I started playing (well, at this point I wouldn’t exactly call it playing… more like trying to play).
It’s a pretty fun sport (I’ve played three times in the last week now, and each time I’m getting better). Even hitting the ball […]
